We went to Bomber Pizza Friday night and really enjoyed it. Emily thought it was cool that they actually tossed the crusts into the air as they stretched them out. Arkie is right in that they have plenty of cheese. We also liked that the Italian sausage has some real flavor to it. I'll try out one of their Phillys next time.

River Rock Inn (The former Baxter Inn) on 62 W has a very nice eating establishment. We had a pleasant lunch there back on the 11th and indulged our taste buds again today, sampling their Sunday breakfast buffet. The hot bar offered a nice assortment of breakfast items and there was a chef preparing made-to-order omelets and big, fluffy waffles. There was also a salad bar, fruit and a few desserts to top things off. Say "Hi!" to the owner, Tim; a local guy who knows his way around the kitchen!

FYI: no blaring televisions, music or table video games. Just good food, attentive service, reasonable prices, plenty of elbow room and the ability to carry on a conversation with your dining partners.

Tried the new sports bar--The Arena---today. Good beer selection. Plenty of TV's. Food sucked, service was no better than fair.

I'm so bummed. Bombers pizza moved.. They are now located in the Royal 66 down 62 east. They will still deliver. I'm just bummed because it was so easy to stop by on the way home from work and get a pie.

Also went to Roscoes friday and what a shock. Joey lowered his price on the friday night buffet. I've never heard of that before. I told Joey that I would make sure I tell everyone that hes a great owner. He said his price will go up and down depending on the cost of the fish. My hats off to him.

What's the new price? We love Roscoe's, but it's just too pricey most of the time. Though the buffet at the River Rock Inn is really good too, but not quite as much seafood as Roscoe's. ;D
